Phase I: Preliminary Examination (100 Marks)

The Prelims is a screening test with 0.25 negative marking for incorrect answers. There are no sectional cutoffs

  • English Language: Reading Comprehension (10-15 questions), Cloze Test, Para Jumbles, Error Spotting, Sentence Improvement, Word Swap, Fillers, and Match the Column
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Data Interpretation (Tables, Line/Bar graphs, Pie charts, Caselets), Number Series, Quadratic Equations, Simplification/Approximation, and Arithmetic (Percentage, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Speed Time & Distance, Mixtures & Alligations).
  • Reasoning Ability: Syllogism, Inequalities, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Order & Ranking, Alphanumeric Series, and introductory Puzzles & Seating Arrangements.

Phase II: Main Examination (230 Marks)

The Mains exam consists of a 200-mark Objective Test and a revised 30-mark online Descriptive Test.

Topic Breakdown

  • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: Advanced Puzzles & Seating Arrangements (with variables), Input-Output, Critical/Logical Reasoning (Statement & Assumptions/Conclusions, Cause & Effect, Course of Action), Data Sufficiency, Coded Syllogisms/Inequalities. Computer Aptitude includes Networking, Operating Systems, MS Office shortcuts, and basic Hardware/Software concepts.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: High-level Data Interpretation (Missing DI, Radar Graphs, Mixed Graphs, Arithmetic-based DI), Data Sufficiency, Probability, and Permutation & Combination.
  • General / Economy / Banking Awareness: Current Affairs (last 6–12 months), Banking Awareness, functions of RBI/SEBI/NABARD, Union Budget, Government Schemes, Economic Survey, and Financial Markets.
  • English Language: Advanced-level Reading Comprehension, Inference/Theme-based questions, Vocabulary, and complex grammar-based tasks.

Part B: Descriptive Test (30 Marks | 30 Minutes)

  • Email Writing (Attempt 1 out of 2 choices) – 10 Marks
  • Situation Analysis (Attempt 1 out of 2 choices) – 10 Marks
  • Report Writing or Précis Writing (Attempt 1 out of 2 choices) – 10 Marks

Phase III: Psychometric Test & Interview (50 Marks)

Candidates who cross the Mains cutoff undergo behavioral and personality profiling:

  • Psychometric Test: Mandatory personality assessment for behavioral screening (Qualifying nature).
  • Group Exercise: 20 Marks
  • Personal Interview: 30 Marks

The final merit list is prepared by normalizing the Mains score (75% weightage) and Phase III score (25% weightage) into a score out of 100
